The artist

Sixth Moon Art was established in 2012 by artist June Doveton, when she realised how much her young son enjoyed her early face paint attempts! Previously to this June had been teaching in early years and, amongst other artistic endeavours, painting canvas art and murals in her spare time. So to combine two of her loves – art and working with children – Sixth Moon Art was born.

Where?

Sixth Moon Art is based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, from where it mainly covers the surrounding areas of Warwick, Kenilworth, Rugby, Stratford, Coventry and Nuneaton, but also North Oxfordshire (Banbury and the Cotswolds) and East Leicestershire (Hinckley, Leicester). If your event is further afield – please enquire – we may also be able to accommodate!

Types of events

We cover parties (children or adult!), corporate events, weddings, theatre, festivals, schools, shop openings, fetes, family days, Christmas, Halloween, disco, television, fashion…anything where face painting is possible really – please enquire!

Services

For events, as well as face and body painting, we offer the magic of glitter tattoos. These colourful, sparkling tattoos are brushed on top of a special skin glue and can last anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks! This can be booked alone or in combination with face painting.
